With the question “In what form does human consciousness appear?” as a starting point, I explore landscapes and spaces through motifs such as sansui (traditional landscape painting), Mount Fuji, and Japanese gardens. By depicting the ways these scenes are perceived—and the space where reality and fiction subtly emerge and recede—I seek to bring the shape of human consciousness into view.

The idea of an idealized realm carries a beauty born from the ambiguity between fiction and reality. This ambiguity gently unsettles the concepts and perceptions constructed by human beings. The symbolic forms that arise within this space ultimately serve as a quiet inquiry into our individual identities.
